Richmond named one of the top of the line locations to live and work as a movie maker in 2019

MovieMaker journal put out its annual "ideal locations to live and Work as a Moviemaker" record for 2019 and Richmond became named probably the most ultimate areas to make a film.

The highest quality places lists - one for huge cities and one for smaller ones - comes as the movie trade is asking outside of Los Angles for its future, in accordance with the magazine.

Richmond got here in at number 10 on the record in the "small cities and towns" category.

"Richmond, Virginia is older than the country that sprung up round it, with a swirl of architectural patterns starting from Tudor to Colonial to Georgian to Spanish, as well as a living background museum, featuring attractions equivalent to Henricus historic Park, which presents a regular undertaking of seventeenth century colonial existence in Richmond," according to MovieMaker journal.

The piece also references studies that Netflix sent a letter to Virginia asking the state to alternate its film incentive policy.
